How to make an appointment                

Our Contact telephone number is 01443 433125 to book an appointment or you can book routine GP appointments via the NHS login - NHS Wales App

The telephone line is open from 08:00 to 18:30 daily Monday - Friday 

We kindly ask if patients would avoid ringing during the busy period between 8am-10am for Prescription queries /  Test results / other routine issues.

 

  • Same Day Urgent appointments are available for Children 16yrs & under and Adult Patients that have Urgent / Acute symptoms - Monday - Friday. 
  • Same Day Urgent appointments requests, Patients are required to contact the practice before 11am on the day. 
  • Patients with acute presentations / symptoms will receive a triage telephone call and a suitable appointment / treatment / signpost will be allocated / advised following the Clinical Triage.
  • ( The reception staff will ask for some brief details of your symptoms upon your initial request to be seen and you will receive a return Triage telephone call ) 
  • The GP's may have asked the Reception staff / Care Navigator to sign post you to an Alternative service that may suit your symptoms/requirements better.
  • If your condition is non-urgent / routine you can book to see a GP in routinely in advance. 
  • Routine GP Appointments can be made up to 2 weeks in advance at Reception /via telephone and via NHS login - NHS Wales App with booking up to 3weeks in advance available.
  • Tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss matters.
  • Please Remember that test results can only be given to the patient or Parent of a child under 16yrs.
  • You can book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor for routine / non urgent matters up to 2 weeks in advance
  • Home visit requests for clinically acute symptoms and clinically housebound patients can be requested via Reception or telephone on the day before 11am, patients are advised that a GP visit may not always be necessary or provided following a triage consultation and an alternative service may be offered or signposted.

 

  • You can register to book Routine GP appointments and order repeat prescriptions online via NHS login - NHS Wales App (Your NHS number is required ) or (Please ask at Reception to register and bring a form of identification)

  • The following Routine appointments can all be made with approximately 3months in advance via reception or telephone with :

  • Nurse, Phlebotomy, Mental Health practitioner, Physio, In house Pharmacist.
